We booked a river cabin, which has a great location, view and privacy but there was an issue with the airconditioning who made lots of noise ( more than our train trip from Chiang Mai to Ayuthaya) . After a bad night due to this issue they offered us a Villa, this room is fabulous!! We thank the manager for this upgrade and we can recommend you to book this room if you go over-there. Overall this is a very nice hotel. Breakfast is great with a large offer of dishes and partly buffet style. For those who like to have a walk in the evening or who like to spend to have a drink in the city of Kanchanaburi they have to keep in mind that a taxi drive of minimum 20 minutes is needed and there are no cabs in the area. Try to get a taxi from Kanchanaburi because in the hotel they charge you 1100 bath for a return taxi, the local return price is around 400 bath or try gettransfer.com . This is a great and perfect hotel and location for them who want to spend a quite and nice time at the river without leaving their hotel. If i would come back to visit Kanchanaburi than i would take a hotel in the center but this is a personal choice. I can’t review the restaurant due that we didn’t tried it , but notice ( as often in High standard hotels)the prices are 3 times higher than in local high rated restaurants. There is also included tea and snack offer in the afternoon but they forgot to inform us about this so we missed it.

We had an amazing two day stay at this beautiful hotel. It’s located in a peaceful area, about two and a half hours from Bangkok. We stayed in Villa #4, which was lovely and had everything we needed except for a stove. The villa also had its own private pool. The resort has a restaurant, and there’s a small traditional supermarket nearby. They also offer bicycles and have an outdoor public pool. The price for the villa, including breakfast, was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They also provide a complimentary afternoon tea once during your stay, which was a nice touch. The city center is about a 30-minute drive from the resort. However, the resort’s transportation services are quite expensive, so I recommend taking a taxi for a better price.

We loved this property! It is very modern, urban chic and so tastefully done. The room is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable huge bed, wifi and everything you could need. We had a balcony overlooking the pool and the river. The pool is gorgeous and we enjoyed a few swims. Drinks, breakfast, one complimentary afternoon tea and dinner at the restaurant were all fantastic. The resort organised a day tour for us which we loved. It was a long day though with a bit of walking but we enjoyed experiencing Hellfire Pass and getting to see the countryside. The staff in reception had excellent English which made communication easy. Worth every cent and I highly recommend this property.

The room we had was the 'container-looking' room close to the pool. It was a really cool room, good airco, a laying bed on the balcony for relaxing and some complementary snacks and drinks every day. You could easily book your daytrips at the hotel. Beds were good and the bathroom area was really nice as well. Wellness area was amazing (we did the massages and was great).

The Waterfall Pool Villa is amazing, well done full of fun & useful amenities, Marshall speaker in house, L’Occitane amenities, & the unique Cross brand lifestyle fun touch! The breakfast is always tasty, serving super fast & with a large menu (Sparkling wine available if you want to flex a bit!) Last but not least, the staff.. They made us feel so welcomed & with a sincere communication & smile! Kudos to K. Meow & K. Ning & everyone else! You are an amazing Team guys!
